I love Linux too but liked this offbeat version called Mint. I don’t run it anymore though because I like to play games and I got too lazy to dual boot.

It seems that Andrea is everywhere. I post an issue I’m having and suddenly she is giving the answer I need or pointing me that direction. Great pick for an featured geek.

On to the tools.

I will say I haven’t run Debian in a while. I switched over to ubuntu a couple years ago because I’m lazy and it makes my life better. Gimp, on the other hand, may not be quite like Photoshop, but once you’ve set it up right that just means it is better. I will have to give Linky a try, it sounds pretty handy.

Can’t comment too much on the “soft tools.” I do have a sketch book but that it next to useless for anyone but myself. Who needs passwords when you write and sketch like I do.
