Essential Tools – Make It Great Style
By
Essential Tools day is here again and this week’s feature is Phil Gerbyshak of Make It Great. Phil is a motivational speaker, author, blogger and all around upbeat kind of guy. So what does Mr. Energy need each day to keep making it great?
- Firefox with PFF plug-in. Phil can’t live without his tabbed browsing because, like me, he routinely keeps 5 or so tabs open at a time. Performancing (PFF) is a must have Firefox plug-in because it allows him to right click and blog any page he wants quickly and easily, and it has a nice image upload API to make his posts pop. (**Just an FYI – Performancing will be no longer as of today, but it is still available under the new name ScribeFire)
- Gmail – Phil loves Gmail. It’s simple, it’s easy, and it just works. The search power alone makes Gmail a tool that rules his world.
- Picsizer – Now I love hearing about new tools! Phil loves Picsizer because it makes resizing pictures a snap, whether it’s one picture or a folder full. It is perfect for those 8.2 megapixel shots from his digital camera.
Do you have a secret weapon for making it through your online day? Don’t be shy! Share it with us. If you’d like to be featured in an upcoming segment, please let me know.

I love feed readers. I can quickly scan through the headlines and excerpts of dozens of blogs – saves me a lot of time!
Those are all excellent tips (I love g mail too – lol) Thanks for sharing! Hope you have a terrific day!

Thanks Marti! I like to use a combination of feed readers and bookmarks of my favorite blogs. Yes, there is some redundancy, but both methods serve separate purposes.
Thanks for stopping in!
