I am a very visual person - I have to see something in order for it it stick. For this reason, I am a huge fan of cheat sheets - simple one page guides that give you a TON of specific information on a specific topic.
Added Bytes has got the ULTIMATE collection of cheat sheets on every topic a webmaster or blogger could need. The ones I find most useful are:
- CSS Cheat Sheet (V2)
- PHP Cheat Sheet (V2)
- HTML Character Entities Cheat Sheet
- Mod_Rewrite Cheat Sheet
- RGB Hex Color Chart
I have these and some of my other favorites printed out, in plastic sheet protectors, and filed in 3-ring binder for quick reference.
